Improve Vocabulary- fast and effective

Do you learn some words to enrich your vocabulary and just after few days you find that you don't remember even the word you learnt ? And then you realize that all that time learning words just wasted.Well, if that's your case. then probably you not alone.Millions of people suffer from the same problem.

Improving /Increasing your vocabulary  is something quite mandatory for one who aspires to speak fluent English. But, as we all know Nothing Comes Free.If you are reading this article to find out some method that will enhance your vocabulary overnight, then probably you can land nowhere.Because no such method has been developed yet. But, this article will present you with most easier, and faster method to enhance your vocabulary. But, Everything takes time.

Some sceptical methods

There are hundreds of articles  you will find on the Internet related to improving your vocabulary.I have read almost all of them . Many I tried ,but failed.Reason for failure was  not that the methods were not good , but because they were not interesting enough that one can follow for a long time.

Those methods might have done wonders for someone or few but definitely not all. For example, One method of improving your vocabulary is daily learn 10 words and make sentences on it.This method sounds good but not very much effective.Reason : You get bored after a month and hence your vocabulary building stops at whooping 300 words only !!

Magical methods of Improving Vocabulary

1- First way

So, one way I find best for improving Vocabulary is learning word roots. Study of word roots is called Etymology. This one is the easiest, fastest and most productive method of improving Vocabulary. The best thing of this method is that you need not do much reading for improving vocabulary if you following this method. Please DON'T DON'T misunderstand me that reading is not important, but i am just saying that those who don't get much of time for reading can also improve their vocabulary by this method.

Why this method is useful, is simply because by learning few roots, you make out meanings of many words. And it's easy to remember them for a long time. You can get a book of etymology and start learning. One website related to this is : http://www.english-for-students.com/Etymology.html

2- Second way

Second most effective and useful way to enhance vocabulary is by use of thesaurus.Just think of some simple word, like HAPPY and then start writing its synonyms from thesaurus. This one is also very effective and fast means of enhancing your vocabulary.

3- Best method

Combine first and second.Just follow both methods if possible, and you will find it amazing how your vocabulary got enriched in no time and that too in easy and interesting way.

So,What should I do now ? How get Started ?
